100 years of Girl Scout Cookies

It is Girl Scout cookie season and these treats are turning 100 years old this year.

NBC News said, people nationwide have began looking for their favorite Girl Scout cookies.

The organization has a variety of flavors such as the Thin Mints, Do-si-dos and Trefoils.

This year they have a new addition to the cookies called S’mores.

Girl Scouts cookies were started in the town of Muskogee, Oklahoma. In 1933, the official Girl Scout cookies came from Philadelphia and they are currently manufactured at Louisville, Kentucky and Richmond, Virginia.
